Thirtyoneeight.org is the organisation we use within the diocese to take advice re DBS issues and to undertake DBS checks on our behalf.
For people who need to undertake a DBScheck we need three things:
- You need to complete a confidential declaration, which will be held securely by our safeguarding officer. Confidential declaration may be found here.
- You need to complete an online application fom Thirty One Eight here.
- You need to submit your identity documents to the safeguarding officer, Parish Vicar, or DBS administrator. List of identity documents here
FURTHERMORE: you may wish to submit your details to the DBS UPDATE SERVICE, which will save you having to do all the above every three years! (Registration for the update service is free for volunteers). You can only do this shortly after you recieve your DBS cetificate and it is accessible here.
